| Aura holds a HSE Certificate of Approval (No. 1162/92) for the provision at work and is a member of the association of the Federation of First Aid Training Organisation.Aura’s trainers and assessors all have long experience.Aura’s training will be conducted at a ratio of 1 trainer : 12 students; all will be given suitable training guidance material. |
Courses
First Aid at Work (initial)
This 3 day course covers the principles and practice as required by the Health & Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981 and the associated Code of Practice and Guidance.
First Aid at Work (re-qualification)
This 2 day course caters for the renewal, for a further 3 years of existing First Aid certificates.
Emergency First Aid
A 1 day course suitable for appointed persons in the workplace where full first aiders may not be required or as support for full first aiders.
Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
A 4 hour course conducted in accordance with the Resuscitation Council (UK) protocols.
Paediatric First Aid
This 2 day course, designed to comply with the OFTED syllabus is a mandatory requirement in the early years Apprenticeship Framework for Childminders.
